

DBGS is organizing a fantastic school trip to beautiful France from 27th September to 4th October 2006. The trip is for Year 7 to Year 11 students. Aim is to give the pupils/students a real and worthwhile experience of topics they already studied in French, geography, history and science. Mrs Sabet, Mr Stott and Mr Snieder will be the staff involved in this trip. The organization in France is in the hands of Ça Va Visits and Activities UK Ltd. The cost will be approximately SAR 7000,- (seven thousand Saudi Riyals) per student and includes: airfares + taxes, insurance, full board accommodation in Paris, Poitiers and Brittany, entrance fees to Eurodisney and Parc Futuroscope, all transport (TGV train, coach, boat on Seine). Please note that students will need to buy a snack on the first day in Paris. The price does not include pocket money. 
Wednesday 27th September: evening departure by coach to Bahrain airport.
Thursday 28th September: 1.20 a.m. flight to Paris, arrival 7.05, tour of city and boat trip, travel by TGV to Poitiers, stay in Futuroscope Hotel.
Friday 29th September: visit to Science Parc Futuroscope.
Saturday 30th September: visit to Saumur (Loire Valley), possibly castle and museum tours, travel to Brittany, stay at Manoir de Belouze.
Sunday 1st October: visit to Mont Saint Michel, medieval banquet in evening
Monday 2nd October: canoeing and other sports activities, shopping, travel to Paris by TGV, stay in hotel close to Euro Disney
Tuesday 3rd October: visit to Euro Disney.
Wednesday 4th October: transfer to airport after breakfast for return flight, 18.55 p.m. arrival Bahrain.
