The smart appearance of pupils is important to the school. Dress code requirements for Foundation, KS1 & 2 and KS3 & 4 are different to mark the transition between primary and secondary age pupils. We expect all pupils to adhere to the correct dress code according to Key Stage.
All uniform items should be purchased from the Academy Store to ensure uniformity of appearance.
The Academy Store works closely with a regional clothing manufacturer to supply our uniform needs. In selecting school uniform, Dhahran British Grammar School has chosen simple clothes that look smart, are cost effective and are practical in the local climate.
For children of non-standard size, and for senior girls who prefer a longer length skirt, material may also be purchased so clothing can be made in custom sizes.
The Academy Store is open Saturday to Monday 8.00 a.m. to 2.15 p.m. Please note that the Academy Store is unable to process credit cards or electronic payment of any kind.
In cooler weather ( this does occur even in Saudi!) the designated school sweatshirt or school fleece should be worn. On the very rare days when it rains children may obviously wear a waterproof of parent choice in addition to the standard uniform items listed.
To avoid embarrassment and unnecessary expense please consult the school before purchasing items of clothing where doubt may exist as to its suitability.
The uniform requirements for each Key Stage are outlined below. Please label all items of clothing with your child’s name so that we can reunite lost clothing items with their owners.
