Bahrain Relay Marathon
On Friday, October 31st a team of runners from Dhahran British Grammar School will be heading over to Bahrain to run in the 2008 Bahrain Relay Marathon.
This is the second time the school has participated in the marathon. Last year a small number of teachers and students ran with the Al Rahaid Team as guest runners and had a great time.
This year we decided to try and put together our own team. It wouldn't be possible to enter the event without considerable parental support - so many thanks to all those that have offered to drive support vehicles and get runners to their starting points.
Next year we are hoping to put together two teams - boys and men, girls and women! Anybody want to coach a running club?
