ICT in Key Stage 1 & 2

In Keystage 1 and 2 Information Technology learning is integrated into other subject areas. The children learn computer skills while performing tasks which consolidate their learning in classroom subjects. In addition to having a computer in each classroom, the children spend time in the computer suite every week.
The children also use digital cameras, control a floor turtle and have the opportunity to present a slideshow

We have a wide variety of software which includes word processing, spreadsheets and database packages which have been specially developed for use with younger children. We have paint, vector graphics, desktop publishing, photo editing and simulation software in addition to interactive software for Maths and Literacy.
